JOB DESCRIPTION: Staff or Senior Architect:

Revolutionary sustainable projects - Wonderful opportunities. Healthy Buildings Management Group, a Napa based Design Build Firm, is seeking a highly motivated Staff or Senior Architect who is passionate about sustainable design and creating community. MUST work well in collaborative/family type environment, have an interest in innovative design, be detail oriented, possess a desire to learn as well as teach and be amenable to working in a fast paced, design/build atmosphere.

• Excited by contemporary and sustainable architecture that will revolutionize the building industry
• Can manage projects from design through construction
• Can work in a team environment with designers, builders, sub contractors, providers, and clients
• Are available and willing to sign off on IDP hours for Jr. Architects
• Can communicate comfortably and clearly in writing and in person, including the effective use of computers and Internet. Familiarity with Mac Computers highly desirable
• Applicant must be highly organized and proficient in expected duties

This is a long term career opportunity. Compensation D.O.E. with partnership potential.

Required Experience:
Must be a Certified Licensed CA Architect. LEED-AP and USGBC member desirable. Ambition to become a LEED-AP, if not one already, a must. Competitive nature and willingness to better our product and designs over those of our competitors, expected. Sense of humor, a must! Ego, hubris, competitive nature or unwillingness to work with other skilled designers within the firm need not apply.
