JOB DESCRIPTION: Course Developer/Instructional Writer/Instructional Designer/Curriculum Developer
Allied Schools is a nationally accredited career training school in Laguna Hills. We are one of the fastest growing vocational schools in the U.S. and seek an experienced course developer/instructional writer.
Job Description:
· Develops courses including writing learning objectives, assignments, assessments, study guides, online instructions, instructor guides, syllabi, and training presentations.
· Consistently applies instructional design principles when developing or modifying instructional materials.
· Uses feedback from employers, students, and other departments to revise and modify courses as needed.
· Provides training and information to all departments to effectively and accurately launch new and revised courses.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Required Experience:
Skills and Experience Required:
· Excellent research and comparative analysis skills.
· Strong instructional writing skills.
· Must be computer-oriented with a superior knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Ability to work independently, but expected to consult with supervisor regarding issues that will cause significant changes to a course.
· Ability to work on and track multiple projects.
· Business and Marketing related course development and/or experience is a plus.
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred. |
