JOB DESCRIPTION:   Immediate opening for a Registered Nurse to work 20 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Join our team and work in a fun, warm and caring environment. The Registered Nurse is a key member of the center’s multi-disciplinary team that provides health services for the frail elderly, disabled adults and adults with Alzheimer’s Disease. The R.N. supervises the L.V.N and provides nursing services including emergency care, evaluating participant needs, writing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medication, and maintaining participant records. The R.N. participates in programs for in-service training and health education. Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses and a current California Registered Nurse License or eligibility for such are required.

Required Experience: Qualified applicants must have knowledge and be sensitive to the physical, mental, and social needs of the elderly. Prefer one year of experience working in a health setting with older adults, people with disabilities or Alzheimer’s Disease. Must possess and maintain current first aid and CPR certification. Knowledge of Microsoft Word.
