JOB DESCRIPTION: Housekeeper Wanted in Belmont
Responsible for performing general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas and support areas. Meet or exceed Sunrise's quality standards. The following responsibilities include:
Maintain commercial laundry in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
Assist Care Givers and Department Leaders with resident care when requested.
Collect, clean and redistribute the community laundry.
Properly sorting, washing and drying linens following the approved laundry procedures.
Trash collection & removal. Maintain trash receptacles and collection areas in a clean, sanitary manner.

Required Experience:
Desire to work with seniors is a must!
* High School diploma / GED preferred.
* Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment.
* Ability to multi task.
* Written and verbal skills for effective communication. * Competent in organizational, time management skills.
* Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
* Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision.
* Follow all community procedures and guidelines as well as have the ability to follow through assigned tasks.
* Demonstrate the desire to succeed.
