JOB DESCRIPTION:   • Provide administrative support on a range of Human Resources issues, procedures and policies consistent with employee standards, legislation and guidelines.
• Provide administrative support to complete new hire and onboarding activities.
• Maintain employee information through updating database systems, spreadsheets, HRIS entries, personnel files, and various reports.
• Handle basic office administration duties such as filing, answering phones, taking HR meeting notes, and drafting bios.
• Process expense reports for certain management level positions.
• Ensure all employee documents, data, and forms are collected in a timely manner and stored in accordance with legal compliance standards.
• Administer audits of employee records such as I-9s, medical files, and personnel files.
• Ensure compliance posters are up-to-date in each location.
• Assist HR Department as necessary with special projects or tasks.
• Provide administrative support to other departments on a needs basis.
• Provide recruitment support to the HR Director by assisting with resume tracking and background checks.
 
Required Experience:
• College Degree preferred and 1+ years HR specific experience.
• Excellent customer service skills a must with a proven ability of building good interpersonal relationships with people across the organization.
• Basic knowledge of HRIS applications as well as best practices for personnel data record keeping.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Must be extremely detailed oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to multi task, & meet deadlines.
• Well developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
