JOB DESCRIPTION: TRAINER
Based in California Central Valley (Fresno area), will provide training and technical assistance to Phoenix House TI-SAP programs located inside multiple California Correctional facilities. Reporting to the Regional Director of Human Resources and working in collaboration with TI-SAP Program Managers, the Trainer for In-Prison Services will participate in curriculum development, conduct training in the classroom and will follow-up with on-the-job coaching and supervision. S/He will analyze staff needs working with directors and assist in the development of an annual training plan, focusing especially on activities involved in providing and maintaining a compassionate, trauma informed, gender responsive environment through the delivery of professional substance abuse counseling to inmates within the Institution |
