JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Harris Moran tomato breeding program in all aspects of field trial design, planting, evaluation, and seed harvest.
- Supervise greenhouse plantings, including managing plant culture and crossing blocks.
- Data entry and maintenance of the breeding program database.
- Supervision of crews in the field and greenhouse.
- Will interact with plant pathologists, molecular biologists, microbiologists, product development representatives and sales
representatives.

Required Experience:
Qualifications:
- BS in plant science, horticulture, or related discipline, with 3 - 5 years industry experience or MS in related discipline, with 2 years industry experience.
- Plant growing greenhouse/field experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- This position requires an non-smoker based on job responsibilities related to greenhouses and the potential for Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) contamination
- Fluency in Spanish a plus.
Skills required:
- Must possess good interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
